Brightest Objects: Quasars
Quasars are extremely bright objects found in the universe, believed to be powered by supermassive black holes at the centers of galaxies. They can shine with the brightness of more than 100 galaxies combined and are visible across vast distances, helping scientists understand the early universe and its development. By studying quasars, we learn about the formation and evolution of galaxies, making them important to astronomy.
