Terms of use
Purpose and audience
Kidlopedia provides educational articles, illustrations and recordings for learning and exploration. Adults should help children choose suitable material and supervise activities where needed. The website is a learning resource and does not replace professional medical, legal, financial or other specialist advice.
Thoughtful and safe use
Use the website respectfully. Do not try to interfere with its operation, obtain unauthorised access, impersonate another person or send private information about a child. Do not treat an article as permission to attempt an unsafe experiment or activity. Children should ask an adult when they are uncertain.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to provide clear, useful explanations and correct mistakes when they are identified. Articles, translations and recordings can contain errors. Features and availability may change. Please report a concern and seek appropriate advice before relying on uncertain information for an important decision.
Images, text and recordings
Existing author credits, source attributions and media rights are retained. Being able to view or download an item does not by itself grant a commercial licence or permission to remove its credits. Any reuse must respect the rights and permissions that apply to that item. The Kidlopedia, Kids First Class and Bach Foundation branding identifies the project.
External links and concerns
External websites and media providers operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy practices. Adults should decide whether a child should follow an external link. Use the contact route to report a broken feature, an accuracy problem or a concern about rights, privacy or safety.
